Babas place wedding

josh and imogen

The first time they went on a date, Josh bought an overnight bag. Such was his confidence (and the level of his crush).

My favourite part of this day was when, fooling around walking around the city after a quick little cocktail stop just for the two of them, Josh stopped and looked at Imogen with this look on his face like he couldn’t believe this was his reality, that SHE was his reality. It’s was as pure a look of admiration and love as I have seen in some time.

I drove them to reception venue afterwards, one of their favourite songs playing on the stereo as they held hands and sang together and laughed as if no one else existed and it felt like a little insight into their daily reality. Just two people, the best of friends, basking in glow of one another and make each other’s live just that little bit more joyous and meaningful.

Imogen and her savage grace. Josh and his boyish charm. And the way they look at one another.

Days like this, people like this, are a big part of why I love what I do. To witness such intimacy. To be welcomed into it. To move through it and with it and hopefully

Enjoy
