These two have possibly the funniest how did you meet / first date story I have ever heard.

Both on their own respective nights out on the north side of Sydney and with a few (read - more than a few) drinks under the each of their belts, proceeded to hit it off like nobodies business and jumping from pub to pub together, exchanging numbers when they parted ways.

Unfortunately for Scotty, when they exchanged numbers he didn’t put a name to go with it - maybe they hadn’t exchanged names, maybe in all the excitement he had forgotten. He got in touch anyway and they organised to meet up for a date, only for Scotty to realise he couldn’t quite remember exactly what Kat looked like. Deciding discretion to be the better part of valour, he thought it wise to turn up 15 minutes early so that Kat, arriving second, would be forced to come find him. Little did he know that Kat had been through the exact same thought process and conundrum, but decided to show up 20 minutes earlier instead. Nonetheless, each quickly figured out who the other was, and the rest is history.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Mindaribba House in the Hunter. Just like them the day was fun, relaxed and full of humour but carried along by a deep, understated love.
