These two met for the first time on a touch field, but first got together at a wedding where Morgan’s entire family was present, on the dancefloor and to the tune of ‘Baby Got Back’. Quite the beginning. Fast forward a few years and they were getting married on a wet autumnal Sydney afternoon, down by the water in Mosman.

On many occasions on the lead up to the day - and on the day itself - so many people came up to tell me that Elliot was the definition of the kind hearted man who would do anything in his power for his mates and how he had found his perfect counterpart in Morgan. It may seem like only a small thing, but I feel like this was reflected by not only the amount of lifelong friends present, but by the number of parents of friends who were there to celebrate them. These are clearly two people to whom community and family mean a great deal.

Some moments to look out for;

• Morgan’s parents getting emotional, then ecstatic when asked to give her away during the ceremony

• The two of them practising their fast dance under a streetlight after the sun went down

• Morgan’s nieces and how stoked they were all day - except right before the ceremony

• The look on Elliot’s face as he sees her for the first time, and then Morgan lending a supportive hand when he was too overwhelmed to get through his vows

• A killer first dance, and the crowd losing it afterwards
