Zac and Candice decided to say a little hello to one another before the ceremony to loosen some nerves and let go of some tension (and boy was there some tension that was released) before getting joined on a lawn overlooking the harbour, on the same spot Zac proposed.

It was, in essence, everything you could hope for.

A few things to look out for

  • The looks on both their faces when they first meet, and the sigh of release afterwards…and the boogie

  • The look on Candice’s mums face when she comes out in her mum’s wedding dress

  • A stoked as hell exit

  • A champagne skull

At one point during the day I asked them to share one thing the other does that makes them feel seen and cared for. Candice immediately broke down and simply responded, everything. If that doesn’t speak volumes of their relationship, I don’t know what does.
